Barry Bonds 756 Scenarios

So my colleague Mark and I have cooked up some potential scenarios surrounding Barry Bonds' 756th home run, and their fallouts.

Let's say Bonds hits 756 against the Florida Marlins.

Now, if as Bonds is rounding third he is shot in the chest by a fan and unable to finish the trip around the bases, we imagine this would be defined as fan interference and Bonds would be awarded home, thus completing his 756th home run, once someone entered the game to run it out. Most likely, the game would be forfeit from that point.

Next, if Bonds is stabbed by Miguel Cabrera as he's rounding third, that's probably defensive interference and again, Bonds is awarded home. If he's stabbed by Hanley Ramirez as he's rounding second, it would still be defensive interference and he would be awarded not just third, but home as in such a situation the number of bases awarded would be at the discretion of the umpire. Again, the game would most likely be forfeit.

Finally, if a terrorist threat caused the game to be paused as Barry Bonds was running the bases, the game would most likely be postponed. The game would then be restarted at a later date in a secret location, allowing Bonds to be awarded his 756th home run and the Giants probably their 100th loss.
